Garmont Shogun vs. Endorphin

I currently Garmont Endorphin boots.  Had them custom fitted and they fit great.  They are 3 years old.  Garmont has now gone out of business.

I found a pair of Garmont Shogun boots at a fabulous price.  That  would be an Internet purchase.  Hence, I cannot try them on for fit.

Do the Shoguns fit the same as the Endorphins, or are they completely different boots, fit wise?

as for that particular boot i am not sure as touring stuff is not really what i sell here, however Garmont have sold all their molds to Scott, so if you want the same boot as you have in the future it will be available under the Scott brand

I appreciate that but they will be full price.  The ones that I found would be 78% off of MSRP.  So if they fit the same, they are almost too good a deal to pass.  And they would give me Tech binding (Dynafit) compatibility!

I went ahead and bought them, after calling a trusted boot fitter who said he would be able to fit them no matter what.

For those interested, they are being liquidated at Sierra Trading Post (online), at 60%, plus another 45% (today only) if you have a coupon or open an account.  The net price is about $139.  They still have most common sizes, albeit in limited quantities.

Fingers crossed they don't need any work in the toe box!

The boots (Shogun) arrived today and they fit almost perfect.  With the footbeds and the thermo-forming of the liner, they may require no boot fitting work at all, or very little.
