This is my first review and although I’ve been skiing for 30+ years I do not have a lot of reference to other skis. Until recently I didn’t quite “get” the variables in ski design (sidecut, especially) that make for drastically different rides. I’m not new to shapes, mind you, I just haven’t been real attentive to gear in recent years. I am looking forward to more actively demoing in the future – particularly some of the shorter tight radius skis.

All that being said, I loved these skis, though I skied on very limited Southern PA terrain. The early morning hard snow made for an incredible ride and I was pushing them very hard. I am definitely becoming a carving addict. I could not find a speed limit and the grip was excellent. No chatter and very smooth. I was favoring the long turns (they were too much fun!), but had no trouble linking short ones as well. As it warmed up, the snow was very soft and sloppy, and although I was not skiing my best (first day out), I can tell you that these skis were easily plowing through everything and gave me more confidence than ever in such conditions. I can’t wait to take them out again on a bigger mountain under better conditions.
