This site has a wealth of information, but despite searching, I've not found a discussion on point. I'd like to get some opinions regarding lessons for a 4 year old.
My son skied 4 times last season (longest day of 2 hours) achieving a fairly stable snow plow with an edgy wedgy (no turns). This season, I want to get him out a couple times with me as a refresher before putting him in a lesson. Winter Park offers 3 and 5 week lesson programs, a full day each Saturday.
Those that have been down this road, any thoughts/comments/pros/cons of a 3 week v. 5 week program?
I'm leaning toward the 5 week, simply because I'm not sure 1 day a week for 3 weeks is enough for a 4 year old to progress. Then again, I'd rather not spend substantially more, if it's not worth it.
While I'd like to get my days in this season, I've committed to this season being about my son getting proficient at skiing, so I'm OK with 2 less days to ski on my own.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
