Bears doing what Bears do in Vermont March 2013

I started this video a long tome ago but then got too busy to finish it. Now that I feel the usual bouts of ski fever coming on I managed to complete an edit.  The footage is only so so because the light was terrible.  I couldn't shoot everyone who was there as I did not bring cameras the first day at Sugarbush.  Too bad because Hoss, Mariah, Songfta are all ripping skiers and that was the only day they were around.  We saw Slow Eddie and his friend at lunch but only skied about a half run with them; it was great to see him again though.  Mike' s forum name is Freeskier919.  Epic was with us the last afternoon at Stowe. ( I forgot to include him in the attendees list)  His finger can be seen pointing out some of the lines you may see in the video Josh posted last week of the Mt Mansfield terrain above the lift served area.

Can't wait to ski with you all again!

Enjoy.

You got MRG local, his skis, his hat and his kid all blowing by us. That still cracks me up.

Thanks for posting!

Man oh man, that's a great bit of stoke from a great weekend... and it reminds me I still need to edit my footage from that weekend!

Thanks for putting that together Crank/Marc.  Good times.  I'll have to make sure Vince sees that, you got some good footage of him in there.

Josh,
There are some Unleashed Hells in start Haus blem sale for 329...- patron with added lightness. An inexpensive option and still less than your pro deal on Patrons.

Thanks for the video, Crank. Makes me a bit homesick for Mad River Glen.

like the Helldorados , they are from the same mold as the Patron just a bit lighter with 2 ISO stringers. I believe this price is still significantly less than your shop form.

That was really fun to watch, crank. Thanks.

Thanks for that Crank.  I'm kcking myself for not making it down for the gathering, I can't at this point remember why I didn't get there, but I need to be sure not to let it happen again.  Also, would love to catch up with you at the bush this year if you are still spending lots of time there.

@Josh, are there plans for a gathering at Saddleback?  I've always been intrigued by their website...

cometjo, We missed you.  Come to Maine with this year's gathering.   I am sure I will be heading to northern Vt and Sugarbush at least a few times this season.  Would love to meet up and ski!

Definitely good times.  Thanks crank!

Looking forward to another gathering this season.   I'll be somewhere in northern VT pretty much every weekend and whenever there's a midweek dump.  Would love to meet up and ski with anyone that's interested!

We should start a midweek dump meet up thread.  I have a very flexible schedule in the winter and plan on spending a lot of that time on skis this season.

Great idea!  I'm getting a Stowe season's pass this year, so I'm going to be partial to Stowe (as if I'm not already...), but I hope to blow through some vacation time this year to get some mid-week skiing in.
