Softening Nordica Dobermann WC 130's??

How can I soften my Nordica WC 130's?  Or should I just consider a new softer boot, I.E. Lange RS-110???

if you like the fit, why not keep the boot you have?   to soften it a bit remove one or the two rear screws in the boots spine,  If you like this new flex, then get the shell cut to make it softer, and put the screws back in.  I can't remember if the nordica wanted the shell cut with "V" notches on the sides, or a bigger "V" in the back.   but the shells are marked and dotted for this..

All race boots are really the same process to soften. "V" notches on the sides or in the back however notches in the back weaken the boot more for rebound so I'd start with notches in the sides.

pretty sure the nordicas have a line doted around the inside which give a softer flex when cut down to, about 10mm will soften the boot 10% ISH there are o hard and fast rules

don't cut a V in the back though as has been said it affects the rebound rather than just the flex

Thanks for all the input.  I love the fit, best I have ever had.  I just want to soften the 130 to about 120 flex.  I don't race any longer and don't need a stiff boot for ski coaching.  I notice a dotted line on the inside of the front flap.  I assume if I cut on that line it will soften the flex a little.  I have tried taking out one of the screws in the back of the boot, but didn't notice any difference in flex.
