Our very own UGASkiDawg's daughter is doing her annual JDRF Walk.

This is a crazy kid with a profound outlook on life, who happens to have diabetes, and she happens to be a skier.

Today is her annual walk and a major fundraising time for the JDRF.

Lets get behind her and help her kick diabetes butt

Donate to her walk here

You can see a bit of what the O in SpaghettiO's is all about in the

Kid Stoke Picture thread.

As a type 1 diabetic for almost 40 years, the JDRF is one of my favorite charities.

So come on bears open those wallets and be generous. The life that is changed could be one of your own children or a friend.

Thanks TC.

Thanks Mike.

UGASkiDawg's daughter is a prime example of a kid who lives with diabetes but isn't defined by it.

Here is one of the articles shared by her during this campaign, about the kind of breakthrough research is in the works

'Smart' nanoparticles may replace injections for diabetes treatment

Here is a thread on EpicSki about Kim Kircher's blog and  a Type 1 Diabetes breakthrough

This is the latest update from Team Spaghetti'O's

Great day at the JDRF Walk on Sunday. Thanks to your generosity we have raised $10,203 in donations and $1,820 in corporate matches - so a grand total of 12,023!! With just a few weeks left to fundraise we are 60% of the way to our goal of raising $20,000 for diabetes research. Woot! Woot! Thank you to everyone for your generous donations, wonderful notes and for joining us in the heat on Sunday!!

Lets see what we can do to help them reach their goal.
