Kirkwood website 6am snow report page shows 24>28 inches mid mtn 32 top. But 8am Snowcountry report shows 16-24 and NWS satellite image shows main front clouds well past by sunrise? More enlightening their snowstick webcam only showed about 6 inches accumulating last night until the platform mechanism appears to have gotten stuck during the automatic tilt dump then maybe another couple inches at most till 8am. Still too cloudy breezy snowy to make sense out of the webcam beyond lift 5.
The very nearby Caples Lake remote CDEC site at 8000 feet shows 0.5 inches of liquid precip and Scheiders at 8750 feet shows 0.92 inches. Sierra-At-Tahoe several miles north shows 18 at both the base and summit that sounds like a crude guess. But nearby Echo Peak did record 1.7 inches of liquid precip. And other remote gauges do seem to show northern Tahoe areas receiving more than to the south.
