I think the big hit this year was the new crossover boots like the k2 pinnacle and scarpa freedom which followed the tecnica cochise line trying to make a great downhill boot that is also dynafit compatible. of course that's not what everyone is looking, but with the increase in bc skiing I guess more companies will invest in boots like that. I was quite surprised that the dalbello lupo doesn't have tech inserts as well as the lange xt which is in the second year.
also lots of companies are including thermo moldable liners with their boots, many based on intuition which is a great value for the product since a liner can cost you up to $200
I guess we will see more of those boots DIN/Tech compatible next year with more if not almost all manufactures showing up with a boot like that
