P.P.S. if I won't find a demo for BG, I know I could demo Praxis GPO and looking on the shape, it seems like both are pretty similar...
Just a heads up - Rahayu Sports is a scam site. They copy a lot of gear off sites like evo. They do not stock any ON3P skis (or anything else they list) so do not purchase from them, as those skis do not exist. We've had no luck getting our skis pulled from that site.
A list of actual ON3P dealers can be found on our website - http://www.on3pskis.com/dealers/.
As for demos, this past spring was our first time with an actual travelling demo truck and we ended up doing more demos in between Feb-April than we had in the previous 4 seasons combined. We weren't able to make it down to Tahoe though (snowpack was certainly a factor there, too). We are working on adding some retailers in the Tahoe and Mammoth area as well, but given the way the previous 3 seasons have gone down there, a lot of retailers have been hurting and it is a tough time to bring on a new brand, especially with a ton of previous years inventory left on the walls. Hopefully Tahoe has a good season this year, as you guys definitely deserve some snow.
Our demo schedule is starting to come together, though plans are not totally set. We will be making it to Tahoe this year, though I don't know if it will be before or after SIA. Once late-January rolls around, we will move onto all 15/16 skis.
We do sell our demo skis around New Year's if you wanted to get a used pair at a discounted cost. They are priced to move and usually sell out pretty quick.
As for the BG, the pre-2013 models have a lot more mixed reviews than the updated shape. The difference between the 09-12 models and 13-15 models is huge, so I wouldn't factor in any pre-2013 model review in looking at the current BG, as the skis are just completely different.
If you have any specific questions about the BG, you're welcomed to give the factory a call and anyone here can answer any questions you have. 503-206-5909. Once our demo schedule is finalized, it will get updated on the website. Depending on how snowfall is early season, we might try to make a few demo trips pre-SIA with current 14/15 skis. That is all snowfall dependent.
Good luck on your choice. Lots of great skis out there, so I'm sure you will be able to find something that is a good fit for you.
