The way I see it - PCMR might end up writing some checks. Hopefully cooler heads prevail and everybody moves on, PWDR to Snowbird and Vail to PCMR and Talisker to the bank. It will be interesting to see what is the asking price for the land that PWDR owns. According to the latest ski lease in the area, expect price to be steep. Pwdr went from side that is trying to pay as little as possible for the lease/sale to the side that is trying to get as much as possible for the lease/sale.
I disagree, but who knows? I see Ian Cumming as being rich with the wherewithal to help his son fight to the very end. Now that he has Snowbird the family can winter there if and when Talisker kicks them off the land. But I have been wrong before with guesses about this fiasco. I was wrong about there being previous bad blood between the Bistricer and Cumming. The judge (from the depositions) clearly laid out the amicable way the two worked together on an interconnect and other things that would go out for generations. I was wrong about when Talisker knew about the problem, too.
