Comments: Just wanted to start up a new thread to express my enthusiasm for this ski. Warning... this report is pretty biased as I just stepped off the hill a few minutes ago and I'm still all warm and fuzzy about my experience thus far.

Now, I haven't tried much else in the past few years so my experience is essentially limited to the previous Volkl Vertigo G31 and Volkl Vertigo Motion models. In a nutshell, the Pro does everything better than these two older skis, waaaaay better.

I don't know, perhaps the Vertigos were never enough ski for me to start with, or perhaps my most recent memories of the older skis were when they were at the end of their serviceable lives... but all I can say now is WOW!

The Pro grips the corduroy, blasts through the crud, carves beautifully all over the mountain and is extremely stable, to the point where it's truly confidence inspiring. From my experience on the slightly harder groomed, I'm pretty certain the ski will perform very well on the ice, but no direct experience quite yet.

I could go on and on about this ski but the short of it is that I've never skied better, nor had as much fun as I'm having on the Pro.

Only thing I wish they'd change is the name, I feel like sort of a wad in the lift line with the word PRO emblazoned across the ski... was thinking of getting a felt marker and turning them into my Volkl BRO's.
