K2 Missy skis for 13 year old?

Hi all,

We are looking at the K2 Missy skis for our almost 13 year old daughter.  She is 5'2" and 100 lbs.  Thinking the 149cms.  We live in Crested Butte and she skis everything - groomers to steeps.  Although I wouldn't classify her as an incredibly aggressive skier, she will ski just about anything on the mountain.  Is the K2 Missy a good ski for her?  She loves the graphics and we love the price, but I can't tell if it is meant for younger, and perhaps less advanced, skiers.  Thanks for you help!

We bought these in 139cm for our 8 year old daughter. She's about 4'8" and 80lbs (i.e. she's an amazon), and she looks good on them size wise. So 149 sounds about right for your daughter.

I dunno about the ski though, if she's really skiing the whole mountain, it might not be enough for her. Not sure.

I found that with kids.... let them get something they like and choose (within reason, of course),  If she likes it, she'll want to ski it more.  Looks like these have an Aspen wood core, which is a good thing, should be fine based on how you describe her.  There's a good resale market for kids skis if she grows out of them in a year or two.
