Sorry for being out of touch for so long. I didnt have a very strong finish to my season last year had like 32 days in by Feb, but I finished the season with like 35 days haha.
We didnt get a ton of video - most of this is from Nov and Dec 2013 I think. Michael I would love to get some more feedback. It is just raw footage - no editing or sound. I spent a lot of Nov and Dec working on my heel to toe transitions and finishing my turns more aft - I feel like I definitely improved some (not every turn looks how I want it to:) but I feel like my riding cleaned up a bit.
I have been hitting the gym a lot doing a lot of squats and leg press. I am hoping that combined with wall sits will have my legs in strong shape to hit the ground running early this season. Hopefully the 200 level riding clinic doesnt get canceled again this year due to nobody signing up. I am currently registered for the 200 ride in Nov, and I might do the tree clinic this season if the schedule permits. I didnt end up doing any level 2 stuff last year - maybe this season.
My girlfriend REALLY improved last season. I feel that she has become an extremely strong rider for only having snowboarded 2 seasons (50-60 days total) and having never worked as an instructor.
