Boulder's Spyder Active Sports purchased by Authentic Brands Group

Boulder's Spyder Active Sports, Inc. has been acquired by Authentic Brands Group LLC. for an undisclosed purchase price.

Sometimes when a company is acquired by another the warranty of the previous owner of said company becomes null and void.  This is usually only the case when something came with a "Lifetime Guarantee".  I see that they've already left themselves a wear and tear loophole so they don't have to replace stuff that's 5 years old and loses a zipper pull or something trivial like that.

Other question, will this spark more or less fake Spyder products?  It seems that the more contract manufacturing plants a firm uses, the greater the risk of people running off and selling more product than they vendor is aware of.
