Use for old skis!

Finally, a way to use old skis other than tacky furnitures! Have a set of old straight skis, might try this someday.

Boy, it must be mid summer for a skier to mix up x-country skis with downhill skis.

 

You really should wear a hat to prevent the hot sun from frying your brain (no this is not another helmet comment rolleyes.gif)

Well, the article says several times that these particular skis are cross country skis, but that you can use downhill skis as well for a higher strength bow.

I wonder what kind of draw weight I could get from some FIS GS skis.....

 

I saw another use, a coat rack made from 3 skis in a tripod configuration. If I can find the picture, I'll post it.
