Looks like 5 trails will be open for night skiing this coming season.  This is going to be great for afternoon and evening dumps....

What ability level are the trails that will be lit?

Yes, and no.  If it's dumping at the usual closing time this means that skiers will continue to track out the snow into the evening, leaving the snow the next morning less untouched than it would otherwise be.  Those afternoon and evening inches may not be there the next day, at least where the lights are.

It gives people more time to ski, so that's good.

The one thing I really liked about night skiing was that it allowed people who work a normal schedule to get a few hours in after work.

That's something I'd take advantage of if I were there and had to work a normal job schedule.

Having a few lit trails is also good for travelers.  Makes it possible to get in a few hours of warm up on the day of arrival, usually for a pretty reasonable price.

it will offer a groomed, on piste (although there is access to a beetle kill mitigated meadow) skiing on green, blue and a black run. The terrain park at the base will be lighted as well.

The intent is more for the tourist but it will provide locals the ability to ski after work as TC mentioned,  Howelson is downtown and provides night skiing already but its not open every day and some if it is for the ski clubs,
