Per Facebook, Bluehouse is now making all their skis in SLC.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this impacts both real and perceived quality.

I have a set of China made 2012-2013 Maestros that I love and was very happy with the quality of the ski- unlike what others have reported for prior years, mine arrived with a professional tune- sharp edges and a good looking base pattern.

Obviously having everything made in SLC will improve perceived quality, but I'm wondering what the real different will be- if the skis were built in China using more automation, and are using a more handmade process, that could actually be a negative. Or it could make them less flexible on the price points they sell their skis at.
