I'd skip the marker piston and put on a plate that will increase the snap of the stormrider... The piston will make crud and other similar terrain very difficult, by making the ski feel sluggish. If you want a race plate, and you are a VERY strong skier, try the VIST WC WIR plate. They also make a junior version of the WC AIR plate that might be a better choice. Mind you, these plates all have a floating back, so you wont get as muhc power out of the back seat, if you like to have that in your bag of tricks when free skiing. I would use a Salomon S914 PE2 binding, because that binding will probably provide the most snap out of the ski. Also the Tyrolia Railflex might be worth a look as well, but i am not terribly familiar with that system, so someone else will have to explain the details there.
