I had planned on watching the E60 but forgot that it was 7PM EDT.  I was three hours too late in my time zone.  I hope to catch it on demand.

I watched, it was pretty sad :( .

Thanks for that. Its kind of odd to hear an Olympic downhiller referred to (in the linked video) as a "youngster"! It still angers me that he got such a bad rap from the media. It wasn't only the Austrians who were putting him down. He never seemed to get the acclaim he deserved after his historic win.

I missed this thread when it came out in July...probably because it was the day I was admitted to the hospital.  It's really sad to see a great athlete brought to this kind of end by injury, life and illness. Bill Johnson really flew high in the skiing world.  I liked the statement that BJ makes Bodie look like Justin Beiber. LOL.

What a story.  Too bad it mostly didn't have a happy ending. I hope Bill Johnson is at peace with his accomplishments, life and legacy.  Personally, I only remembered the good stuff about him.

I haven't found this on Apple TV's ESPN yet, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Here is the promo video from the link above.

I had a pair of "red sleds" and bent one skiing bumps. Not meant for the moguls though! Really great on the hard pack and groomers. Thanks for posting.
