So, whoever has had a chance to ski any of the 2014 Stocklis, please feel free to add you reviews. 2014 Stockli HERE. Here is  the review template that is preferred. We look forward to hearing your opinions and experiences.

I'm trying to get on the Stormrider 95, the VXL and the Y85 next week.  If I manage that I'll post something up.

FWIW, Real Skier has reviews of the 95, 100, and 107 up. Interesting to compare to ours that Dawg and Phil have contributed.

Beyond--with out robbing Pete of revenue --can you summarize difference between Pete  says and what Dawgcatchign says, which was something like--the 95 was best ski he'd ever been on...(loosely). Thx

At least for now it seems these early 2014 reviews are available for everybody to read:

^^^ Yeah, for some reason, no membership filters at the moment.

I tried to read their reviews, but they consistently write ridiculous statements that betray their narrow focus.

I hear you, although they're gradually getting better. They made the Kodiak best powder ski last year, gave TST's high scores, have loved Ski Logik for a while now, and seem quite pleased with skis like the Automatic and Rossi 7's this year. And they've toned down their Head fetish in recent years. They may gush over Stockli or Kastle, but a lot of good skiers do too.

But then they still go all old-school about skis over 100 mm, still grouse about how no one really needs anything fat unless they're making a movie at Valdez or a real FIS ski unless they're a NCAA I and above. Whatever. Lot of this is about fact they know their audience, which is mainly intermediates who stay on groomers, and their thinness at # of reviewers. Some numbers come from just a couple of skiers, maybe from the same place.

I do wish they'd review some relevant indies like Moment, Praxis (since they liked the Kodiak), DPS, ON3P, for a start. Armada's barely an indie anymore. Instead they worry about Palmer or whatever vaporous carver startup is available that year. Harold Harb must have a grip on his followers that goes waaaay beyond what little I know.

The new Stocklis have come a long way!  I kind of fell in between sizes, but they are so versatile for how strong they ski.  It is hard to find a combination of the stability, quickness, edgehold, bump-ability, and whatnot that both the 95 and 100 had.  The new FX94 clears that high bar as well. I don't know if they fixed their distributorship issue though; it will be interesting to see if anyone sees these skis on walls in shops this fall.

Examples?  I don't have a membership.  What is their focus on?  Old-man skis? I met a couple of their testers at an event, and doubt that those skis made it off the green groomer.

They are on Start Haus's wall, the 94 and 107's are verrry good skis.

Failure!  I didn't manage to demo any Stocklis at all this year.  The shop is in a town 30 mins drive out of the village.  We had a prime parking spot in the hotel car park.  It snowed on the Wednesday evening.  They had to clear the road.  Friday was rainy, heavy and miserable.  There was an earthquake.  A flood!

The dog ate my kid's homework last week. No, really.
