Backcountry skiing in Chile and renting airbag, beacon etc equipment

Hi everyone, i am lucky enough to be going for 12 days to Portillo and some other resorts around Santiago, Chile and I am considering doing some backcountry skiing since it supposed to be phenomenal there. I am new to backcountry and would like to perhaps take some guided tours/courses while i am there. Does anyone know if I will be able to rent gear such as a beacon, airbag pack etc there? any help is much appreciated, thanks!

I've never seen any rental avi gear available in Chile.

Greg Harms is a really good guide that is starting up a heli op in Chile.

Maybe contact him and see if you can book a couple of days?

Sounds like this trip may have happened, but for future, Donny Roth guides out of Chile for a couple months of the year (just returning to Boulder now though)..

Donny is a good guide, but he's a one man show.  I wouldn't count on him having any extra rental gear.
