just a stoke to remind you that from here the days get shorter and its a day closer to the first day you see the flakes flying.  Until then; Ride, float, cast, paddle, swing a club or a bat or just enjoy the day.

Cheers

Sweet, seems like I just stopped skiing a couple of weeks ago.

The days are going to start getting shorter.

One day closer to next ski season.

I'm going to go look at my skis. Maybe even put my helmet on...

I get to have my back sliced and diced next week mad.gif, but I've done the quick math and figured that even if my recovery period is on the long side of the estimate (which I doubt, what with me being such a Bad-Tushie and all...cool.gif), I should be back to 100% (or as close as possible) well before the snow starts falling.  icon14.gif

Missing out on the remainder of my summer fun is a bit of a bummer, but being fully ready for ski season easily takes precedence...so, I say bring on the knife, Doc!

Damn, I do truly hate Summer

but at least the Fall is now in sight wink.gif

We always go on holiday mid to late July for a few weeks.  Once we get back, football season is starting up and then snow flying is just a few months away.  Time flies when your having fun, so get busy.

I have already started making my plans for next season. Still debating on which season pass to get...

I'm retiring (at least for 6 months) August 1.  I intend to do virtually nothing work related (well, virtually -- I have some consulting work that I simply can't get out of) for that time.  I did look at going to New Zealand for the Rookie Academy, but I had two weddings interfer.  It was amusing to think of spending $11k to become certified to earn $11/hr...

Winter will soon be here -- not quick enough for me.  I'm lookng for a place to rent or buy in Summit County so I can get 4-5 days a week of skiing in.  My objective is to finally learn how to ski this winter while I'm still (relatively) healthy.  (I put the qualifier relatively in there as I dislocated my right shoulder for the 4th time a few weeks ago when a moron turned left in front of me causing me to crash on my bike).
