2014 Tecnica Ten.2 120 HVL

I am cautiously excited about the 2014 Tecnica Ten.2 120 HVL for my wide high instep foot.  It looks like a normal boot with a good liner, instead of the weird look and too cushy liner of the Phoenix 120 HVL.  I tried on the Pheonix 120 HVL and it felt like I had a sleeping bag on my foot.

So my questions are:

1.       Does it have a good liner?

2.       Is the width 102mm or 106mm?  I’ve seen both.  Catalog says 102mm and another site says 106mm.  Seems to me that 102mm isn’t what Tecnica has called HVL in the past.

Thanks.

Looking at my Tecnica digital catalog, it also says 102 but so does the whole 10.2 line...(10.2:102mm), but the HVL is indeed 106mm. Wth that said, the liner is a very good liner and while it might seem to fit on paper, you should still stop in your local shop this fall to see what fits your foot.

So there is a reason for optimism.  At this time of year, that's all i can hope for.  Thanks for your response.
