That"s a solution is search of a problem. Some L3's maintain a very high standard, others lose interest and mostly drift away form it. IME not many guys stay around if they are not maintaining a high standard. I'm the perfect example. People still want to ski with me, but I know I don't ski the standard anymore. I can still ski everything I need to ski to provide a good clinic, even for very high level skiers, and I know way more than I did 10 or 15 years ago, but I don't have the credibility I had when I could ski 200 vertical feet of zipperline.
I know I don't meet the skiing standard, but I'll be out of it before anyone in the public notices.
