Dynafit bindings

I just got a steal of a deal on some Black Diamond Quadrant boots and my friend let me try out his dynafit bindings last weekend. I'm interested in investing in some dyanfit bindings, but don't want to break the dynafund. Anyone know of someone looking to sell a pair or know of a place where I could get them on the cheap?

Vertical or Radical or Speed?  ST or FT?  Brakes/brake width?  Tried Google?

You can post a WTB on TGR, probably a good place to start if you are looking for used one. Any specific binding you are looking for? BC has a TLT Radical FT for 30% off right now.

That's a pretty good deal if you want 130mm brakes. If you have all summer to shop, try a Craigslist aggregator. That's what I did for two pair of Comforts @ $160 ea. Turns-All-Year  is another place to look or post a WTB. I'd get an ST over an FT and skip the Radicals myself. But there's a hundred threads on that topic.

TLT Vertical FT is what I'm leaning towards right now. I moved out to Colorado last fall and I'm along for the ride of skiing 12 months a year. I would prefer to get the bindings sooner than later, but I suppose patience will reward me with a cheaper entry.

If you are skiing on lifts the Radical toe is a lot easier to click into.

BD boots (any boot that isn't Dynafit)  just makes the other Dynafit bindings harder to get on.   Wel lworththe extra weight.   BC skis?  Speeds in any form or better yet Race bindings in any flavor and leashes.

I am considering those bindings from BC and I had a question about the 130 mm brake.  Does anyone think it possible to modify these to about 100 mm or less?  I have to think all brakes would be standardized to fit into the mounting assembly and as they get wider they lengthen them slightly and do an offset to get the width.  Your thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks.

FWIW BC seems to be out of stock right now.  That said, it's difficult to bend Dynafit brakes very much - a few mm wider is doable, but narrower 15mm/side...I wouldn't want to try that.  Bending them in is more complicated than bending them out.  I suppose you could do it, but since BC seems to be out of stock, it's kind of moot.

Not Dynafits but cheap and Dynafit compatible tech style binding: I've got a pair of lightly used (one day) last year's G3 Onyx that are Dynafit compatible and would sell with crampons and brakes for $225 shipped.
