Very good to hear. Thanks for letting me know. Like Cosmai in one of the previous posts, did you mount on the factory recommended line?
You know, I'm not sure. I got 'em on Ebay (killer deal) w/ only a few days on them so they were already mounted. When I got them adjusted for my boots I asked the tech to go toward the back of the mount range if they ended up needing to srill new holes. Never did ask if they did that or not. I plan to use them for OP, not for the park!
_More on the skis_
That said, I'd be surprised if these skis were super sensitive to binding placement. They really are sweethearts. For one thing, they are incredibly turny -- when you want to turn that is -- in the soft snow. We just got 12+" more here today so I had a chance to ski them in powder. Yea! They really just pivot very nicely -- infact they felt in some conditions -- especially bumps, but any kind of soft snow -- much more easy and natural to turn than my short (160) SLs. I immediatly felt more comfortable in the trees as they were very predicatable. Not to mention the incredible float, of course -- I guess that goes w/o saying.
On hard pack they have a turn that is much more like a GS ski -- and they hold spped incredibly well. I think I did figure out why some testers have complained about stability. At reasonably quick speeds (not mach schnell) they get a little wobbly. Not unstable or evne unpredictable per say but kind of short frequency wobble -- could be disconcerting for some. Since again my other ski is a short slalom I am more than used to this behavior so it doesn't really bother me. They just don't like to run super flat at at speed -- get a little edge on them and they are fine.
