Last week was NOT a fun week. Some idiot left a big rock / small boulder outside the door at work--right in the walk way after using it to prop open the door. Needless to say, I took quite the tumble. Of course, according to Murphy's law, it was my left/injured side that got beat up--twisted the knee and ankle. I was not a happy camper. Ironically, it happened on the way to physical therapy.
After getting through the initial day, it seems like it was more pulling muscles--hamstring and quad. PT did some ultrasound and I did a lot of icing. The PT evaluated it and thought it was all right, it was just very frustrating to have injured my ankle and knee. I'd like to be moving forward instead of backwards.
Just trying to put that behind me and hoping to be able to do a full workout today at PT.
That stinks. Hope it doesn't slow down the recovery.
