Lange Super Blaster vs. Rossignol Sensor2 110

Hello,

I'm an advanced but aspiring expert level skier trying to decide upon new boots for next season. To this point I've been in incorrectly fitting boots that were one size up from my true needs due to having 2E wide feet. With a 102 last, I think either the Super Blaster or Sensor2 110 may be the right oned. I tried on the Super Blaster and it fit nicely, but the Sensor2 was not available to try on. Currently I am in 26.5 Nordica Double Six boots, but should be in 25.5 boots with a 102 last. I'm waiting until fall to make my purchase.

I like skiing aggressively and look for steep trails. I don't seek out moguls but they always seem to be around. Since I don't live out West any powder days are just pure luck. I'm not a big guy, 5' 8" and weigh 170. Any advice while I wait until the next time I can try them on?

Thank you

the best boot for you is the one which matches your foot shape closest, no one on here can recommend a boot based on the information we have, it takes a bit of time with your feet in front of a good fitter to get you into the correct boot.... moving forward both the models you mention are not in the ranges (certainly over here) next season so the thing to do is research the fitters in your area rather than the boots...most brands make a wider boot but you need a boot which fits your rear foot as a starting point, and most of the 102mm lasts out there are a little "bucket like" in the back end, but again i have not seen your foot, so the heel and ankle may match the front... but a boot can be made wider in the forefoot if required.

so find the fitter, work with them and get the best boots for your feet, there are contact details for the fitters who post in this area at the top of the forum, if there is nobody close to you then give us a locataion and someone may be able to suggest a fitter close by... in the mean time (and after you have found the fitter) drool over some ski mags at all the shiny stuff to buy...but DO NOT be tempted to buy on colour and look .... red ones are fastest!! ;)
