40% off tuning supplies at Artech!

I'm not sure how long this lasts but I just bought Dominator 400g wax for $25 each, a great deal.  All tuning supplies are 40% off and there are other discounts.  Coupon code Holiday.

Artechski.com is a family owned race oriented shop in New Hampshire, I've bought things from them for a number of years, they're very good.

They helped me piece together a solid tuning kit.  Must of been on the phone with them for 30 minutes.  Really helpful, nice people.  Also picked up some of that dominator wax as well.

Randomly stopped in one time to look at helmets.  The store/barn-like-structure looks like a Santa's workshop for skiers. drool.gif

Yep, great deal! Restocked my wax, a couple of new diamond stones and another roto brush. Hard to resist 40% off!

Thanks for the tip. Been looking for a full kit (iron, vises, scrapers, etc) and this was just the opportunity I needed. Also always happy to support family businesses.

I also took advantage of this deal and purchased a 400 gram block of Dominator Zoom green wax (along with another item). It just arrived today -- that is a seriously big block of wax. It is about the size of a VHS tape. Do people usually use the block as is or do you cut it in half?

I use them as is.

As is. I did try cutting it the first time I used it. It seemed awkward compared to the Toko sticks I had been using. It doesn't cut well and tried using a solder iron. After that I decided to just use it as is and now I prefer it.

I use one end for rubbing on and the other for the iron.

To cut a 400g block of Dominator in half simply score across it a few mm deep with a craft knife then break it over your knee.

Kind of late to the show, but I use the big blocks as they come. It's easier to handle and put back in the box after the first use. I've been a big fan of Dominator for over 12 years. Try the hyper-zoom you'll never use anything else.
