I've got a whole bunch of equipment in my entry hallway right now. I keep buying gear (secondhand) for next season. It's like a mental illness. My wife just nods her head and walks away when she comes home from work and sees yet more stuff in the hallway greeting her.
I'm a decent snowboarder (much more experienced skier than snowboarder), but I decided to get myself and my son our own boards end of the season, instead of throwing money away on rentals going forward. Now I have 2 boards, and he has 3!!! This is madness!!! (Actually, I'm going to sell off the extras come next season, I just bought some gear off CL which included several boards in one instance, so I didn't go completely off the deep end, mind you.)
Anybody else completely bonkers about the snow being gone already, and buying up used gear to console themselves, and watching their ski report app daily, praying for a miracle dump? :D
