What are summer skiing clothes?

Well, my 8 y/o girl had an informal tryout for the local race club. I was hoping for a nice "you are doing well...why don't you come back in a year or 2?"  but that is not what happened...at all (sigh),  So now she is going to a skiing camp at Hood this August (and next winters schedule just got a lot fuller). In the flyer it says to bring "summer and winter ski clothes."  What exactly are summer ski clothes? Do you get them at the same store you get jumbo shrimp and sugarless candy? I have some ideas for a jacket but I'm a little stumped on pants.

//edit: I will be more than happy to look at any and all bikini skiing pics, but would also appreciate some actual input.

In warmer weather my kids train in their race suits, with/without a thin shell jacket depending on the exact temperature and wind.

I think what actually happened is great! It will cost you a fortune and take up all of your spare time but you will have a lot of fun :-)

You probably know this already but keep all her skin covered as the salt used on the runs creates razor sharp crystals that shred skin leaving large oozing sores and permanent scars. If it is sunny some skiers will be wearing shorts and t shirts but they are idiots.

By August Hood will be fairly warm, the winter gear is more geared for June when it might still be winter conditions.

She'll want non insulated shell ski pants, same for a jacket.  She will bring up a bag every day to the mountain and thats where you keep layers to change on the hill.  Layers are key as the weather is always changing.  Most days many people ski in shell pants and sweatshirts.  Have her tuck in her T-shirt so if she falls the snow won't scrape her up.

Summer ski gear also means sunscreen, darkly tinted goggles, and more sunscreen.
