Difficult to say since you don't see what happens before the jump.

 

The course setting seems to be a bit mean though with a sharp turn just before the jump.

I think they actually set that turn as kindly as they could. There was a huge wreck the day before. The girl went over both layers of netting and off the trail.

   Yeah...hard to say. Looks like a jump you don't want to catch too much air on. Kinda seems like he had too much pressuring and bad direction...He was low on a lot of turns prior. th_dunno-1[1].gif  Agreed with the turn before the jump being a tad sharp...

Looks like an extreme case of triscaidekaphobia to me. If you take off out of balance, you will land out of balance. Gives new meaning to the phrase "Better never than late!".

Looks to me like he was planning to do a pre-jump but mis-timed it completely. Still, he got up with just a few bruises and made a nice bow to the audience. He's made of the right stuff, that's for sure :-)
