A little fun with my GPS and a GoPro camera

A friend and I collected some GPS tracking data and videos when we were out in Utah earlier this year. I thought it would be fun to synchronize them together in an interactive virtual globe as a little side project. The result ended up being pretty cool, so I figured I'd share it. Hope you guys like it.

It's still a little rough around the edges so my apologies for any bugs/crashes you might find.

It also only runs in Google Chrome browser at the moment.

really cool! are you guys thinking about creating an app for it? or maybe a database kinda like google's street view?

We talked about creating a public app, but we'd need some serious webserver horsepower and bandwidth to host all the videos and data. My company was nice enough to let me use their hardware for this, but I doubt they'd be happy if I started using all of their bandwidth. So, for the moment, it's probably a one-off demo app.
