Tough Mudder's - are you ready for the Mudder season?

I will be the first to admit, I don't have it in me to do a Tough Mudder, but I was a witness to the event at Tahoe last fall and am amazed at the fitness level as well as the crazy level of enthusiasm.

Question to those of you who do it....

Does this article impact how you will approach the events?

The whole electro-shock aspect of them is kind of a turn off as far as my interest is concerned.  I know someone who was shocked unconscious during one of these.

When some of these wanna-be Extreme Series Producers make courses dangerous to body-parts just for the sake of their lust for "carnage", the legal system should, imho, start challenging the "Agreement" forms and conduct inspections verifying the courses' safety aspects.  Endurance...getting one to the finish is one thing, ignoring safety hazards for their ability to "separate the steroid-ridden iron-pumpers from the *Healthy and Fit* people" is another...and should be left on the TV screen, where the money-grubbing morons live out their lifes in the first place.
