I actually demoed them for a day in Jackson Hole last week. The weather was pretty warm and the snow was soft and heavy, so I was looking for something with a little more buoyancy than my T50 5-Stars. I have to say that I've never skied a fat ski before, probably nothing with larger than a 72mm waist, so I really don't have much basis for comparison. (FYI, I'm 6'0", 180lbs, fairly aggressive expert skier, and I was on the 177mm)That said, I thought the Nordicas were a blast. They handled the crud extremely well. They carved smooth arcs though rough snow and even handled the groomed stuff better than I ever though a 92mm waist ski could. I didn't find they very hard to flex and they initiated turns easily. Also, I fould them to be quite stable at higher speeds. Overall, I thought they were great and would love to have a reason for owning a pair, but they just wouldn't get much use back east. Sorry, I can't compare them to anything similar.
