Denver area weather bad?

So I ordered some really nice new wheels for my road bike and they finally got shipped by UPS ground.  The delivery date has been shown as today, 4/18 and yesterday the UPS tracking site showed the following:

Commerce City, CO, United States 04/17/2013 4:24 A.M. Departure Scan

I checked this morning expecting it to say "Out for delivery."  But it hadn't been updated and never changed until about an hour ago.  Now it shows this:

Commerce City, CO, United States 04/18/2013 4:00 A.M. Adverse weather conditions.

And no delivery date is shown.  WTF!?  Was the weather bad in the Denver area yesterday? Or today?  If it departed Commerce City yesterday how is it that it's still there?  It doesn't make any sense and of course talking to someone is like talking to a wall, they see the same information I see.

Yes, it was snowy and icy yesterday and last night. Roads fine today after the sun came out.

Thanks.  You never know about their weather delays.
