So with all the depressing end of season threads, I thought we needed a late-season thread. Sorry if there is one already, but I didn't see any on the first page.
I'm not as diehard as some folks here, but I usually go until late April/early May. I hit Snowbird for the first time this season yesterday and it was like traveling back to mid-winter. I think they got close to two feet over the past three or four days. It came bit by bit, so not necessarily a huge powder day (although Tuesday seemed like it might have been), but great snow to be had. Some of it was heavy and sticky, but still found plenty of light, dissipate-in-your-hand powder and groomers were great. It was a different world from Snowbasin's closing day on Sunday - dirt patches, spring slush and poking rocks galore.
Then, down the canyon to the lush greens of pure spring.
So who else is still getting after it?
