The whole series was visually challenged.

No one would ever steal them.

As a glass half full kinda guy, I prefer to think of the BEST looking topsheet. So, how about the ON3P Pillowfight - http://www.on3pskis.com/products/skis/pillowfight/

Wow! are you supposed to ski them, or hang them on the bedroom wall? The first line of the description is full of double entendre: " the Pillowfight is our ultimate deep powder jib ski."

Is she a goer? Say no more, say no more.

[facepalm] damn. When I posted above, I hadn't gotten far enough to see the best topsheet thread. My bad, sorry for thread drift...

Hate the new Prophet skis as well! But to the Dynastar Cham are worse!

Motorhead is arguably the fugliest I've ever seen.  Fell out of the ugly tree and hit the ugly branches all the way down.

Hellbents are nasty as well....seriously, who comes up with this crap?

Motor heads. Period.

It's a Head thang, the Mojo 94, now Motorhead, was a plain brown wrapper. I was going to get a pair of these but just hated the graphix. Crayons and kindergarden kids could do better.

Hellbents have always been OFF too. I have the lizard graphix which may have been the better look for all the Hellbents since. Tho the original heli look didn't seem that bad, just stupid!

Clowns on a Ski? Really, naked women I can understand.

Looking at the Rev series, I think you are on to something. Blizzard, too, makes incredibly ugly skis, but too many people love their Bones to admit it. Maybe when Head gets the accolades and sales of the Bonafide, we will look at them a bit differently.

sorry i disagree...i think blizzard's topsheet with that slight sparkle is

pretty cool...and i love the bull insignia

and the head rev series is no turnoff either.

what does put me off, however, are some of the topsheets of the past few yrs you and others illustrated here, from the likes of

K2 , Head (motorhead) and Nordica that featured those boring themes of psychotic clowns, skulls, demons and/or dancing skeletons...like puh-lease!icon13.gif

...contrast that to the atomic Bent Chetler's various designs that could be still be 'cool' but also more thoughtful.

Do you own either Blizzard or Head skis?

yes.

blizzard bonnies (just bought used a few mo ago a 2 yrs old model which features the grey background

vs the current red or blue one, which i'd prefer)...and earlier in the yr I was to test ride the head rock and roll/motorhead due

to reviews but realized i didn't need it due to my current quiver...that topsheet put me off...i was in 'gear whore mode', lol.

and i was even considering the ass ugly k2 obsethed at one point, too, 'til i came across a pair of used bent chetlers at the beginning of the season.

Submitted for your consideration- the Bluehouse Maestro "Sage."  For everyone that wants a creepy gnome guy on a cloud

staring at them while they ski.

imo it's not only ''who comes up with this crap''

(we can all doodle wild and bizarre ideas when young)

inasmuch as who the hell is behind the wheel in

supposed ''leadership'' that signs off on this sh*t and allows it to get produced and go out the door?

maybe time to stop for them to smoking the crack pipe at work.

I don't know why people hate the head revs so much, they look okay to me, nothing special but not ugly either. Heck I don't think even the motorheads are that bad, at least not as bad as the demons and gnomes anyway.

I knew my skis would get a  mention ;),  funny thing in Japan I had several older japanese guys and a couple of  liftiies comment on how cool they looked! Mind you  I doubt these guys could read engrish and Ive tried to cover the worst of the graphics  with stickers.

I  agree they're fugly but  they ski great and were cheap!

We only made 2 of these, so they might not really count, but I always thought this was always painfully bad and hilarious at the same time.

Just a few employee shots while testing out the lighting for our first Pillowfight photo shoot.

I won't attach these photos to the thread, as they might be a bit NSFW, but you can see a few more here (mostly of the girls, but also the full images from the amazing shots used on the topsheet above).

And the photo shoot from this past season.

Next years are better... this year's? Just stand back, squint your eyes, and you'll see they're kind of a 'value' mess.

Ahhhhhh! My eyes! Someone throw acid in my eyes! Please!

The Revs aren't so bad IMO, and the Motorheads are a great ski, so I can only guess that the marketing guys have having bad nightmares. ;o)

Good thing snow sticks to topsheets!

Riding back down the tram on Saturday at Squaw and this guy walks in with his motorheads.  My friend mentions that those have to be the ugliest skis he's ever seen in his life.  The guy holding them agreed and said he was thinking about just painting them black.
