Henry V shreds

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter

    We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
    For he today that shreds this snow with me
    Shall be my brother; be he never so vile
    This day shall gentle his condition;
    And gentlemen in Seattle now in bed
    Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
    And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
    Whom skied with us this powd'ry day!

How well you are able to ski is related to how hard you are willing to fall.

If all the year were playing holidays,
To sport would be as tedious as to work;
But when they seldom come, they wish'd for come,
And nothing pleaseth but rare accidents.

(EDIT, of course, that was before Shrewsbury, he may have changed his mind since).

There once was a playwright named Shakespeare.

And he did not ski, I do fear.

Those lines you have changed,

Seemed mighty strange,

But not after I had my third beer!
