White Spring Continues at Saddleback

Thread Starter

Day of wild weather at Saddleback today, including intense pelting graupel hurled down from black clouds, interspersed with moments of near-full-on spring. Still a ton of base up there - better than February. 100% open. For how long, who knows, but it was a blast skiing with Josh Matta and his friend Jake this weekend, and introducing them to some of my regular pals.

Looks sweet...  when is Saddleback closing for the season?

Depends on how many tickets they sell next weekend, I suspect. Was pretty dead yesterday and today, which is too bad; we want this place to survive.

No analysis on this thread. New rule I just made up. smile.gif And yes, I always "over ski" the terrain, pitch, conditions when I know someone is filming, and it kills me. Doh!
