Mag 8.7s also gone!  Take home lesson: don't wait until your skis are 7-10 years old before deciding to let them go!

Here's another take-home lesson. If you want to sell something quickly, offer it for significantly less than most people would happily pay for it.

You sold those skis for a song!

Why?

Take your pick:

1. I'm an altruistic soul, interested in helping out  my fellow skiers.

2. I'm a lazy SOB who hates haggling.

3. I over-reacted to my previous failure to sell good but aged skis for less than a song.

4. Need cash fast.

5. Excessive guilt for hogging all the toys.

6. Some combination of all of the above.

7. None of the above.

...upon further rumination .... all choices can be over-simplified into the three basic options: 1. Too Much, 2. Too Little, and 3. Just Right.

Just Right can be tossed out immediately as too unrealistic/subjective, leaving Too Much and Too Little.  Of the remaining two, one of them invariably is the wiser choice; in this case, given the primary goal is to remove the items from the premises without simply throwing them in the trash, it's obvious what the correct choice is .....

Yes, you are absolutely correct - I'm engaging in serious work avoidance.
