Big White lodging

Thread Starter

looking for a recommendation for next years trip to big white.   We are 3 middle age brother with wives and were thinking of doing a condo next year instead hotel (which we still might be open to if the property is nice and not too expensive.

My search over the last few days left me with the following condos:   The Edge 21, Rockridge, Southpoint and the Timbers coming in 4th.

Any rec on these condos which are beneath the village center?

Hi Mark,

We have stayed in both South Point and Timbers....lovely accommodation and great ski in/out, however you are skiing for 2 mins down to the Gondola for a 6 min(?) ride up to the villiage and then a little skate to the lifts (if you don't stop for a coffee at Beano's first).

We have also stayed in the village at Stone Bridge and Legends and just this last April my Hubby and I stayed at the top in Timber Ridge (all by our lonesome with out any grown kids for the first time...bliss).

Without a doubt, Legends is the hands down winner! with great size 3 b'rooms plus den. Units 1-10 are all excellent ski in/out from your back door right onto the run that takes you up the Hill or to the Villiage for a coffee via the beginner (slow) Plaza chair. It's location to the Village centre is brilliant too. Check it out on Alluradirect or Homeaway/ of them or all has a listing last time I looked.

Hope this helps :-)
