I agree with pud's comment about meeting at the Mill at 9, since I start at Canyon.

You should definitely wax the front half of your skis with red and the back half with yellow, then later in the day just ski switch!  Good luck.  ;)

If you got a pass from another resort, ya get a discount at squalpine

http://www.skialpine.com/lake-tahoe-ski-tickets-passes/deals-discounts-alpine-meadows

Enjoy spring conditions at the spring skiing capital: Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows. Now other resort passholders get $50 lift tickets through the end of the season! Child (5-12) and Super Senior (76+) get $30 lift tickets. Must show your 2013-14 season pass at any ticket window to receive discount.

So save some dough n spend it on beer

I have a compact HD video camcorder and would like to get some MA video.  If anyone that will be at the Mammoth part of the gathering is interested in spending a few hours taking turns videoing each other, please send me a PM (it would be helpful if you had your own SD card, but if not we can copy your videos into your computer at the end of the day, or I could send via dropbox).  Mon or Tues is better than Wed, because Wed it may be snowing.

Also will have a pair of 2013 168 cm Kastle MX88's for sale at the gathering -- they were demos but are in very good condition; indeed, as they have demo bindings, you could try them: http://www.epicski.com/t/127077/fs-168-cm-2013-kastle-mx-88s-w-bind-pref-to-sell-at-mammoth-gathering-asking-350

I'm sure someone will be able and willing to video you.  I'm not that good ad video'ing but I'd be happy to do so for a few runs if you are still in need.

We'll talk

If changes are made, they will be posted there.

( I don't expect changes to be necessary. )

Thanks Trekchick.  I'm skiing out of Eagle, so so if I don't catch the group at 9 at Mill, I'll see you at 10:30 at midstation.

Don't forget, Pud lined up a discount deal for demos at Mammoth.

Instructions on the demo discount instructions are described in the Group Thread

I'm staying at the Westin also - are you driving over to the main lodge? Want to car pool?

Hey guys! I just came back from a mammoth trip yesterday and thought I'd give a trail status update to help everyone out. While the whole mountain is still open, watch out for brown patches forming along broadway and stump alley. Daves run and climax have some rocks poking out or just an inch below the surface in some areas so just watch out. Also unless you want to hike I would not advise taking the ski back trail. Snow is nice on all summit runs, the back side is very icey and stays that way until around 1ish. Cornice bowl is very crowded with crashes and tumbles occuring every 5 minutes or so. A shame because the snow is excellent there and the face is just perfect for laying huge fast arcs. Okay have fun out there guys, I had a great time!

ANNND you lucky dogs are getting some fresh snow tomorrow and into Wednesday! Up to a foot is what Howard is saying! Hope the winds don't close the top and you get to enjoy that fresh stuff. So much fun!

Man, you guys bring nothing but good luck to the Sierra, every time.

Skied Squaw today with a friend that's in town. Still good up high, have fun!
