Lange XT130 vs RX130 (Replacements for my RX100)

It time to replace my RX100s and I've been looking at either the RX130 or the XT130. The RX100s fit really well but after 3 seasons of 40-50 days on-snow, the liners are packed out and I'm ready for new boots. I was going to go with the RX130, but becasue I spend a lot of time in my ski boots helping out at our local ski races, the XT130 has been recommended as being a good coaches boot becasue of the walk/ski feature. Not having had the opportunity to demo these boots on hill, I've heard that there is a bit of a trade-off with the XT130 in terms of on-snow performance, so I'm still not sure which boot to buy. Would the loss of on-snow performace with the XT130 (relative to the RX130) be off-set by moving up from the RX100 to the XT130?

Really hard to say.  But typically there are tradeoffs when skiing what you might call a "coach's boot".  Is it possible to own two pairs?
