Is Birds of Prey usually groomed at Beaver Creek? I checked on EpicMix and for the past two days they haven't been groomed.... what's going on?
I'm going there tomorrow. I didn't make it to Keystone today, bah. I woke up really early, but ended up doing some work. Then I had all you can eat buffet at that Himilayan place in Dillon, then fell asleep in the parking lot of Walmart. When I woke up it was already 3....
I love it. I was in that Walmart today for provisions. It's a busy place on Sunday... you must have been tired to sleep through the chaos! Good day to rest up. This week will be awesome between the storm on the way and deserted slopes.
Like most black runs in CO the Birds of Prey are mostly bumps. It's been a couple years, but I seem to recall they groom one run down both the Birds of Prey and Grouse Mtn maybe once a week. Any BC skiers with better details?
Also, FYI closing week can be wacky. They might cut back on grooming and even start shutting down some terrain. Don't worry, there is still tons of great skiing, and the ratio to skiers/terrain is fantastic in April.
