It's a step in the right direction, but I still have a long way to go to get to where I want to be. The main focus this year was learning to use the top of the turn. I made significant progress in this area, but I lost some counter and resulting ski performance and rebound in the process.
I'd like to see more powerful turn exits and more lateral deflection. I am still not balancing well enough over the outside ski, a fact that is starkly revealed when attempting to cleanly carve very steep terrain. I still place too much weight on the inside ski.
To answer some various comments, I agree that the stance width is too wide, I agree that I need more angulation (counterbalance), and I agree that the pole usage is undisciplined and needs work.
