This is my first post, but have been reading lots of posts in the boot forum. After much suffering, I finally bought a pair of boots that are comfortable and fit me well (thanks Hal & crew @ Northern Ski!).
Now that I have the right boots, I'm hoping to pick up a one ski quiver for East Coast skiing. I've been away for several years, and picking up the sport again. I'm an intermediate skier, primarily skiing blues and some blacks, depending on the mountain.
I ski groomers when I'm with my daughter, but like to ski fast or duck into trees & bumps when skiing with my friends. Conditions are typical east coast - hard snow, ice, and occasional 3-6" covering. I currently ski on Rossi Bandits which I think are 10 years old, I know skis have changed a lot since then. I hope to improve my ability as I take a few lessons and ski more, so I'd like a ski I can grow in to. If someone could steer me in the right direction as far as ski selection and length, I would appreciate it. I plan to demo them this coming weekend. Thanks in advance!
