I was just out there tonight, and after the 6" of fresh snow received on Tuesday 3/19, the conditions were, as many locals who were also there can confirm, the best Spring skiing that Ski Sundown has seen for many years. The conditions on all the trails were packed powder - Gunbarrel, Stinger, Temptor, Nor'Easter, Canyon Run, Tom's Treat - every trail was in great condition.
 
So, while the mountain is open, and the weather is staying cold, why not stop by for some daytime or evening at Ski Sundown ?  As the season winds down, it's a lot closer and more convenient than driving to MA, VT and beyond, and their hours are longer than many of the other local mountains.   At the time of writing this post, Ski Sundown are operating on normal hours 9am - 10pm weekdays and 8am to 10pm weekends.
