Cuff Alignment after Planing

Can you readjust your upper cuff alignment after getting your soles planed?  I recently purchased new boots and insoles and had a stance alignment.  The cuffs were adjusted to center my legs and measurements were taken to get proper knee alignment. The soles were then planed... 2 degrees and 1 1/2 degrees (both to move the knee to the outside).  The cuffs were not adjusted after planing.  I notice that the cuff screw has become loose and is out of whack.  Would i go about adjusting the cuff the same way...no liner with the footbed installed and try to center the cuff...or now since the boot is planed should i go about it another way. Everywhere I read says to align the boot cuffs BEFORE planing.  Thanks in advance!

can you ask the person who planed your boots where the upper cuff was set to after they did the work?

or move the upper cuff, so that you have even pressure on both sides of the upper cuff vs lower leg
