Katana binding position doing my head in !!!

I live in the UK and have just received a new pair of 2014 Katanas 184 from Volkl. No I'm not a sponsored hotshot but it was a warranty replacement --- fantastic service !! Anyway I'm after a bit of advice . I'm not a heavy hard mountain charger but very fit advanced skier for a pensioner.  Weigh 160lbs and am 5ft 10ins. I want the ski for all conditions including piste and shallow powder and of course the European crud. Ski Chamonix a lot. Some people say go for Volkl recommended but is that for big mountain charging. Others say +2cm but I'm not going for big drops or acrobatics!! I have Jesters to go on them . I don't know where Dawgcatching had them mounted -- Fantastic reviews. Anyway love some advice and here's a shot of the Katanas -- Hard to find as they are all going on about the carbon version.AppleMark

Unrelated note: Totally LOVE the new graphics on the Volkl lineup.  Almost made me consider waiting til the Fall to buy a Mantra.  Almost, but not quite.  HUGE leap forward on the graphics though....the dragon/samurai/Japanese abstract thing was lame.

Mine are mounted right on the line, but I don't think that going forward a bit would be a bad thing.
